Alternative Dispute Resolution Representation

Increasingly, whether by virtue of the parties' prior contractual agreements or according to Court directives at various stages of civil litigation, our clients are called upon, or may prefer, to submit a dispute to non-binding mediation or to a binding or non-binding arbitration convened before one or more mutually agreed professional arbitrators.  We routinely provide legal representation to insurance companies, corporations or private citizens as either the petitioner or respondent in such alternate dispute resolution forums wherever they may be convened both in and outside of Florida and at whatever level of resources needed to present the position of the client.  We have handled hundreds of pre-trial or pre-suit settlement Mediations throughout Florida and in many other jurisdictions around the country as well.  Likewise we have considerable depth of experience representing our clients in Arbitrations convened under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association, Construction Arbitration Boards, Yachting and Marine Salvage Arbitration Panels as well as other regional and local private arbitration groups.

This includes business disputes, construction claims, restrictive covenant matters, injury/wrongful death claims and assistance to insurers for any subrogation claims under which according to joint membership in Arbitration Guiding Principles, the insurer must seek recovery for a claim in such forum.

Mr. Hruska is also a certified civil litigation, Court-approved Mediator, available to assist other attorneys and their clients in trying to resolve disputes without the need for a trial.
