David J. Pascuzzi

    DAVID J. PASCUZZI is an honors graduate from the University of Florida Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree and admission to the Florida Bar in 1996.  He received his college degree from the University of Vermont with cum laude Dean's List honors, election to Phi Beta Kappa and was named a member of the Boulder Honor Society.  In law school, Mr. Pascuzzi served as senior research editor for the Florida Journal of International Law where an analysis of Columbian and foreign investment laws was published.  He was twice listed as a National Hispanic Scholar while in college.  During his college years among his many achievements, he was a staffer to Vermont Congressman, Bernard Sanders, (now U.S. Senator).  Never idle, he also served as a legal assistant to a Fort Lauderdale law firm during his summer breaks even before attending law school.

    Prior to joining Schwartz & Horwitz in 2003, Mr. Pascuzzi was a senior associate at a civil litigation firm in Boca Raton for seven years.  Over the years he has handled numerous jury and non-jury commercial litigation, insurance coverage and liability defense cases, intellectual property disputes and argued numerous dispositive motions in venues throughout the State of Florida.  He has also managed a wide-ranging body of appellate cases in both Florida state and federal courts., serving as a key brief-writer for the firm's large volume of appellate cases. 

    Mr. Pascuzzi is admitted to practice before the Florida Supreme Court, United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of the Florida federal court system, the Federal appellate courts in both the Eleventh and Fourth Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Inns of the Court and active with the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

    David is a Long Island native with South American family heritage.  He is fluent in Spanish and routinely handles legal matters for the growing number of Spanish-speaking businesses and citizens in South Florida.  He resides in Boca Raton with his wife Jodi and their two young children.
